I have just added several essays covering a number of topics of interest to young readers (and maybe some old ones). Most were written several years ago but they are still pertinent.
The sequel to Paths to Triplos, "Troubled Waters", is a work in progress in which Kevin discovers that a boy he has befriended in Triplos is in love with another boy, but that neglect and abuse by his mother (and her many boyfriends) have rendered the other boy incapable of love or trust. He also discovers that the young servant at the castle was rescued as an orphan by Mage, and their relationship is closer than father and son. Gareth's evil and violent sea-captain father adds to the tension and begins another set of adventures involving most of the characters from Paths to Triplos.
No completion date has been set for Troubled Waters. Interest expressed by readers may expedite the work.
